Got it working! The steps I used:
make clean CFLAGS="-m32 -g -ggdb3" CXXFLAGS="-m32 -g -ggdb3" ./configure --host=i686-pc-linux-gnu --enable-debug --with-debug --prefix=/home/phajdan/local CFLAGS="-m32 -g -ggdb3" CXXFLAGS="-m32 -g -ggdb3" make make install I think that not all of the flags are necessary, but it at least it does what I want. So, this enables me to continue fontconfig leak investigation. Thanks for great and quick help!
