I tried using VS Express to build WebKit in the hopes that I could get VS2008 for Chrome. After two days of fighting with it, I gave up and decided I'd continue with VS2005 for Chrome and WebKit development. Also, the sentiment I've heard on #webkit is that VS2008 isn't worth the porting effort, so we should stick with VS2005 until VS2010 comes out. That said, there has been talk of moving WebKit over to gyp and that would solve this problem.
