Hi all, Some information about Visual Studio 2010. But question first: Is there any plan (long term / short term) to support it?
Microsoft released Visual Studio 2010 beta 2 this week. (http:// msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/dd582936.aspx). The final version is target to March 22, 2010 There are several changes addressed in this page (http:// msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd465215(VS.100).aspx). Here are some major (i think) changes: 1. Build system changed from vcbuild.exe to MSBuild. 2. Project file name and format changed to .vcxproj 3. C++ 0x language standard support Additional Information - Visual C++ Team Blog about MSBuild (http://blogs.msdn.com/vcblog/ archive/2008/11/20/printf-hello-msbuild-n.aspx) - Channel 9 Video about new MSBuild for C++ (http://channel9.msdn.com/ posts/Charles/Bogdan-Mihalcea-The-New-VC-ProjectBuild-system-MSBuild- for-C/) I use Chome everyday, and thanks for all your hard work!
