I think the concern is whether or not the two applications would conflict if 
installed on the same machine.

I don't believe they would, especially if you go with Google's implementation 
of Chromium which is instead called Chrome.

lol its not like Chromium is an official original copyrightened
name... Chromium is actually a chemical element which has the symbol
Cr and atomic number 24.
