I'm in Linux right now so I can't confirm that, can someone see if it is indeed true? It could eb due to the way google handles sessions and the way that Chrome separates each tab's resources and stuff. I'll have to fiddle with that tonight. That sounds, to me at least, like more of an annoyance than a feature :-P
