Hi,
It is possible to change the default search engine used by Chrome. To use
google.com instead of google.co.in, follow the steps:

   1. In the Chrome Options, choose the Basic tab
   2. Choose the Manage button next to the Default Search drop box
   3. Click the Add button
   4. Give a simple name in the Name field, eg. Google.com
   5. In the Keyword field, enter google.com
   6. In the URL field, enter
   http://www.google.com/search?q=%s&sourceid=chrome
   7. Click the OK button
   8. From the list, choose the newly created Search Engine and click the Make
   Default button

Hope that should fix your problem
