I think this is a great idea. I just asked why Google doesn't make their own OS. This kind of idea is why they need to. I think all kinds of media needs the ability to add notes to them more easily. Or mark them in some way and have things cross referenced more easily. Like being able to bookmark videos. Mark a certain spot in a video you want to go back to or leave a note on an image... etc etc.
