Just wondering if there are any plans to allow the user to change the
orientation of the tabs? I saw some discussions earlier this month
about not having the bars at the top of the vertical space, but I'm
more concerned about not having them *anywhere* in the vertical space,
but rather on the side[1]. (I achieve this currently in FF by using
the Tree Style Tabs plugin, but having a plugin change tab placement
has always seemed silly when it's such a core browser component IMO.)

We work with *lists* all day:

* to-do lists
* shopping lists
* bullet lists
* numbered lists

It just seems like a much better way to organize a large amount of
randomly accessed data than by creating a horizontal list: to-do
lists, shopping lists, bullet lists, numbered lists.

I personally find the former much easier to navigate than the latter.
Which is why I think it's such a shame that all tabbed browsers today
try to lock us into the tabs-on-top view.
