I'll add another vote for this. It would be to Chrome's detriment not to include this small but vital feature since time and again it's been proven that it's always the small things that make or break consumer software, not the big ones. Firefox, Opera and IE 7.0 (soon to be IE 8.0) all have this feature in one way or another and Chrome really needs to follow suite. ;)
