With 40 years as a hardware engineer, I know how hard it is to make
things simple, functional and efficient. I watched as software and
firmware became the organism, and hardware had to become generic as a
"host" body in a science fiction like "inhabiting." This is the first
time I have ever seen a concerted software effort to properly meld
with the hardware, rather than just dominate it.

I loaded V2.149 last week and it was great until the PDF lockups. I
was on the same path of lowering priorities and trying to disable
things as many other posters. Thanks to the forums, I found V3 last
night, and loaded it. WOW what an improvement.

Thanks for the superb forethought and follow-through. If I can praise
software, it really has to be good.

While in the field, I was sort of jokingly known as a Bug-Finder. It
seems that just by getting near anything with software in it, I could
cause malfunctions that no one thought could occur. I am more of a
klutz user than a power user, but maybe that could be helpful in
development testing.

Thanks, Bugman
