Google Chrome is currently using WinHTTP, which depends on the OS
implementation of SSL.

Microsoft added TLS-SNI to Windows Vista only. If Google Chrome is
running on Windows XP, it won't use TLS-SNI. On the other hand, if
Google Chrome is running on Windows Vista, it will use TLS-SNI
automatically.

I guess the wikipedia page needs clarification.

On the other hand, Chromium is switching to a new http stack that will
eventually implement its own SSL. So expect this feature to be
supported even on XP in the future, I can't confirm any date.
