Please take a look at the svn logs
(http://src.chromium.org/viewvc/chrome/trunk/?view=log) to see the
work going on. Chromium's trunk is on the webkit trunk, just not at
the tip of tree. We are always interested in having people give a hand
to help get us to tip of tree.

The official release is not using the webkit trunk, since it is not
stable enough; there are many other reasons too.
