I like this idea too. My Google account stores email, contacts,
documents, why not my bookmarks too? But, some users might want to
store bookmarks remotely some place besides Google. On their own
computer for instance (so they can access them from other computers).
So I think this option should include the ability to manually specify
where the bookmarks are stored. And with this, a warning to users
about the potential privacy and security issues of remote bookmarks.
Passwords in URLs, definitely should not be allowed without additional
stern warnings.
