most browsers have an 'open' option for downloaded files, where the browser simply opens the copy from cache rather than forcing you to select a user accessible path to save a copy...
ex: click on a link to an mp3 file save window appears user is forced to specify a location for it once download is complete, user can click on it on the download bar to listen to it user then must go to the save location to delete the file it would be nice if i could add a list of extensions (and perhaps the associated application) that would be automatically downloaded to cache and opened, without needing to go through the process of 'save as' ex: click link to mp3 file download automatically executes (to cache) when download is complete, mp3 is automatically opened in the defined application for mp3 files perhaps the functionality is there and i missed it, my apologies if this is the case. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Chromium-discuss" group.
