Hello. I've discovered a strange problem which is VERY annoying in Google Chrome. It only appears in recent versions I think, because the initially released version didn't seem to have this bug. So it may be a regression. I'd like others to confirm and/or share your comments?
Okay, I noticed that in Windows Vista, if you change your "border padding" (i'll explain how to do this below) then Chrome has a strange white border around the left, bottom, and right (but not top) of the program. It is pretty annoying. See this screenshot: http://i44.tinypic.com/347ion8.jpg This only happens when you change your padding to be less than the default, which is 4 pixels. To change your padding: 1. right-click desktop, select 'Personalize' 2. click Window Color and Appearance 3. at the bottom, click 'Open classic appearance properties for more color options' link 4. make sure you are using the Windows Aero theme, not Aero Basic or some other theme 5. click 'Advanced' on the right 6. from the 'Item' dropdown menu select Border Padding. change the padding to 0, 1, 2 or 3. 7. Click OK to dismiss this window, and click "Apply" on the window below it (The Appearance Settings window) Now, look at Chrome. You should see the strange border. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Chromium-discuss" group.
