Hi, I've been using Chrome full-time for a few weeks now and am mostly very happy. The only feature that I miss from FF was the ability to do 'smart keyword searches' (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ smart-keywords.html) where you can type something like "imdb brad pitt" directly into the location bar and it would automatically submit that search to a particular form on the IMDB website. It occurs to me that this might be difficult to implement in Chrome due to the need for the omnibar to 'interpret' your searches, but are there any plans to add this sort of functionality? Perhaps with a special symbol in front of the search? For example maybe typing "imdb jolie" would do a google search, but "#imdb jolie" would submit 'jolie' to the imdb search-form. This is a minor quip, Chrome is faster than FF in almost every other way, but I really miss this feature.
Thanks all for everything. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Chromium Discussion mailing list: [email protected] View archives, change email options, or unsubscribe: http://groups.google.com/group/chromium-discuss -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
