Another user has more details here regarding Windows 7 32-bit: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=6404#c4
[extracted details] - After upgrading my system to 32 bit Windows 7 beta (build 7000), Chrome no longer starts. - The browser works once I uninstalled and reinstalled it. It appears that during the upgrade process from Vista to Windows 7, things in the Chrome install go awry. You should try uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome.
