I thought that originally you couldn't even get an alert to show up.
It sounds like this is now working. What do you mean by "no further
processing is done"? It seems odd that you can get an alert, but no
other JS to work.

Also can you verify that you are using Chromium's built-in user script
support and not Greasemetal (I remember you were looking at both).
