I think mhenriday's question is already answered in Issue 231, but to paraphrase, passing Acid3 supposedly requires pixel perfect matching with the reference rendering for the browser on default settings. Since there is no "Linktest failed" message on the reference rendering, this is clearly a Chrome problem.
