Well, to use "add-ons already existing for IE / Firefox" is a terrible
idea.  Chrome is not built the same way as IE and Firefox and it is
unlikely add-ons for IE/Firefox will install/work in Chrome.  Also,
that is the wrong way around to do it; Chrome should not contort
itself to ensure it works with other browsers' add-ons.  The add-on
developers will develop Chrome add-ons that will work for Chrome.
