If I am not mistaking, I have seen a revision that deals with that. It
changes the behavior in this way - pressing "Control+Shift" will change the
direction only when there is a right to left language in the system - or
something similar of that kind (maybe simply multiple languages). Perhaps
you are using an old version (or the Stable version, that lacks of a lot of
features), or it still has not been merged to the Beta.
