I am a Web Designer and frequently edit websites locally on my laptop.
Chrome does not allow me to connect to localhost (my computer) as a
website unless i am connected to the internet. I understand why chrome
does not try to search for the site when there is obviously no
internet, however perhaps an exception for localhost should be added
or it should run a test to see if the host is the machine in use.
