Being able to Tab through the auto suggestions from the address bar is a good feature and also good for cross browser uniformity.
IE and Firefox both do this, and it is useful and expected by many users. I know I tried it and was surprised it didn't work in Chrome. Maybe it's a WebKit thing? Safari doesn't do this either, unfortunately......
