A workaround is to force Chrome to start in one of the above 4 working languages, which will show the correct font size (but of course with UI displayed in that language). To start Chrome in a specific language, add "--lang=gg" (without the double-quotes) to the Target line of your Chrome shortcut, where "gg" is one of the 4 working language codes.
