I would check and see where Chrome is installed on your system and make sure the folder is deleted after you uninstall. The location will depend on how you installed Chrome, see this article for more information: http://www.google.com/support/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=95413.
If that doesn't work, I would suggest posting something on the Chrome Help Forum at http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Chrome?hl=en.
