Would be much easier if you could look at the bugs, see that they are not assigned to anyone (or supposed to be assigned, from a glance at the comments) and ask here (or on Chromium Dev) - after you checked with yourself that you are currently capable of fixing then, though without spending time on them yet - if someone is heading in the direction of dealing with these bugs. Since there are a lot of developers (or external contributors), I believe a lot of different project\issues are being worked on. Much less time would be wasted that way (plus, not everyone is subscribed to this list).
