Hi, In the User-Agent request header, Chrome identifies itself as AppleWebKit/531.0 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/3.0.190.1 Safari/531.0 The version numbers may vary, but I guess msnbc is interpreting it as a Safari browser.
AFAIK there is no option in Chrome for modifying the User-Agent, though you can use an HTTP proxy to achieve such result.
