Speed Dial is already adapted to some extent (obviously). Granted, you
can't add stuff, but at least you can remove it.

Mouse gestures are not everyone's cup of tea. I used to use the 'back'
and 'forward' gestures but then I got a mouse with 'back' and
'forward' buttons, so I'm mighty fine without gestures now. Because of
that (and also because I think there's a lot of users who don't grok
that power stuff at all), I think gestures should be an extension, not
part of the core.

As for synchronizing your personal data, that's not a bad idea. But as
far as I can tell, it can be done by extension as well.
