(2) I'm all for it, or at least more options than there are now, but most of the Chrome devs are biased against any more options.
(3) The next closest thing currently is the Chrome Dual View bookmarklet: http://www.chromeplugins.org/plugins/google-chrome-dual-view/ (4) Chrome has a "new" New Tab Page, which I think might be the default by the next Dev release. I think it shows more Recently Closed items. (5) Chrome and Safari 4 already have the fastest Javascript engines now. Chrome is already pretty spiffy in screen redraws, tab management, startup, etc. Is there any specific area you think requires speed improvement? (6) Are you saying somehow the Omnibox in relation to Flash plugin causes some stability issues?
