How big is the "huge" icon? I would imagine probably 256x256. Numerous large icons exist; here's one I found on image search: http://www.afghanfun.com/downloads/images/Google_Chrome_Icon.png
Can you right click on the shortcut and set one of those as the icon? I'm not too familiar with Vista....
