I'm not absolutely sure, but here goes... As far as I can guess, Response Time is how long the server takes to respond to specific request(maybe?), End Time would be when the resource is finished being downloaded(I would think).
I believe Duration would be the total time it takes to request AND download the resource, while Latency is just the time it takes for the request -> response round-trip(ie, the time it takes for the request to get to the server plus the time it takes for the server to respond). But this is just my guess. If someone could explain it better, be my guest. ^.^ On Thu, 2009-07-23 at 22:52 -0700, ilyia wrote: > Hi, > > In Chrome 3.0.193.2 I can view all the Resources loaded by a page. > There is a option to sort resources by: > > Start Time > End Time > Response Time > Duration > Latency > > What's the difference between 'Response Time' and 'End Time', and > between 'Duration' and 'Latency' ? > > > --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Chromium Discussion mailing list: [email protected] View archives, change email options, or unsubscribe: http://groups.google.com/group/chromium-discuss -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
