Hi Ben,
When it says initial release, that means that they (Ubuntu
developers and fta in this instance) are thinking of packaging
chromium for Karmic Kaola 9.10 and that would be a great thing. They
just need to make sure they are able to get a build that works out,
and can then work on making it stable. One of the issues perhaps would
be with adobe flash but if it can work with swfdec or gnash then it
will be very quickly taken.
