All text fields in OS X has libedit bindings. Examples are ctrl + a for beginning of line, ctrl + e for end of line, ctrl + p for previous line, and so on. Chromium doesn't have these bindings, though. I'm so used to these bindings that I'd have to spend a lot of time getting rid of old habits to be able to use Chromium. Are these bindings left out by purpose, or is it just not implemented yet?
