Right now, I cannot be certain about the Linux create application
shortcut part, but all that does is just create a Linux program
shortcut with the following details:

google-chrome --app=http://www.mywebsite.com

If you create such a Linux program shortcut yourself and then run it,
it will start that website with Chrome in application mode.
