Mohamed, I haven't figured out how to submit a bug report just yet.... but perhaps you could do it yourself, if you are seeing it too and feel that it is a serious issue. :)
It might be difficult for the developers to duplicate my setup for testing/debug, since I am not running the current version of Ubuntu, am using the 64-bit version of Chrome, have a bunch of extensions installed, and tend to run with many different tabs open. A 'cleaner' setup might be easier for them to identify the problem. Anyway, it looks like chrome-unstable was updated today; perhaps the download problem has been fixed already? I haven't had time yet to verify this -- Chrome crashed several times before I was able to try. It seems that the latest two versions have been notably more unstable than the previous ones... enough so that I'm going to demote Chrome temporarily from every-day use until it restabilizes.
