Just a thought! Since Chrome is focused on Web Application and it has Application short cut, adding minimize to tray icon would be good idea. Depending on an application if one can set to "hide on minimize" it'll just go in system tray. Just like in Outlook Express and other mail applications when its minimized it'll reside in system tray icon and on double click it'll open up.
Seeing window in taskbar always is annoying.
