The version of chrome that I'm using is 4.0.223.11. Go to http://htmledit.squarefree.com and paste the following code into the textarea:
<center style="background: lightblue; width: 200px; height: 20px;"> <span style="position:absolute;">inline</span> </center> Notice how the inline element doesn't center. It should sense it doesn't have the left or top properties set. Is this happening in your version of chrome? Has this been fixed? I posted this in the issue tracker a while back, but haven't gotten any kind of response. I'm a web developer and currently I have to use a hack to get around this; I have to place a nbsp; before the inline element in order for it to be rendered properly. If any thing, I ask for support in solving this issue. Thanks for reading. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Chromium Discussion mailing list: [email protected] View archives, change email options, or unsubscribe: http://groups.google.com/group/chromium-discuss -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
