I believe that chrome needs an option to allow users to set their own "User Data Directory"
The size of said folder can become quite large(>1GB in my case) and it is accessed often, and may contain possible private information so I think it needs to be configurable. I don't think this would be too hard as there's already a command line option to change the directory, (www.chromium.org/user-experience/user- data-directory) but then again I'm not a developer... Suggestions: 1)Add a GUI menu option(I suggest under the "Advanced tab" or around "internet usage data") 2)Provide in depth options regarding the location, maximum size, profiles, separation of user data/Application data seems like 2) is a lot of work... I say implement 1) and if users and developers like it, go to 2) -- Chromium Discussion mailing list: [email protected] View archives, change email options, or unsubscribe: http://groups.google.com/group/chromium-discuss
