I believe that chrome needs an option to allow users to set their own
"User Data Directory"

The size of said folder can become quite large(>1GB in my case) and it
is accessed often, and may contain possible private information so I
think it needs to be configurable.

I don't think this would be too hard as there's already a command line
option to change the directory, (www.chromium.org/user-experience/user-
data-directory) but then again I'm not a developer...

Suggestions:

1)Add a GUI menu option(I suggest under the "Advanced tab" or around
"internet usage data")

2)Provide in depth options regarding the location, maximum size,
profiles, separation of user data/Application data


seems like 2) is a lot of work...

I say implement 1) and if users and developers like it, go to 2)
