I'm running a windows operating system, and was just wondering about the fastest and easiest way to get my feet wet in the source code. I would dearly love to contribute, but CBA to dual-boot linux (read: pressed for HD space).
Basically, I want to know if anyone else has been through a similar situation and would like to offer suggestions on how to do a full change cycle (write tests, write code, build code, run tests, submit patches, etc). Also, what IDE is best used for contributing to linux- based projects on Windows? Is Visual Studio even a possibility? Any external documents (like readmes on the subject) would be appreciated also. As you can probably tell, I'm new to open-source contribution but would love to start making a difference. -- Chromium Discussion mailing list: [email protected] View archives, change email options, or unsubscribe: http://groups.google.com/group/chromium-discuss
