Google chrome OS is an Internet based operating system any disrupt of service would be traumatic to the user. Is it possible for Google to use its vast web definition libraries to allow an offline mode that automatically syncs the user when connected? just like a Cashed option
Syncing daily encase they lose service or want to read without wireless activated saving battery life. The user would set the amount of size they want to use. Just like how steam downloads updates for games.. you set the websites you want to sync and Google chrome downloads sites automatically while the user has service. like a local web crawler, or downloads Google's (Cashed) database. It’s a differential backup comparing changes from the last backup. Google chrome is very small! I would love to designate a 5gig portion so i have an offline web available so all that extra space is not wasted. -- Chromium Discussion mailing list: [email protected] View archives, change email options, or unsubscribe: http://groups.google.com/group/chromium-discuss
