Now that the Mac OS-X Google Chrome Dev channel has a new release, the Chrome version of the browser DOES have MP3 payer capability. Realizing that there is no need to put a licensed MP3 codec in Chromium, it was of course planned for Google Chrome. So at least the DEV channel for Chrome for Mac has MP3 player and Extensions capability now, and I am using it now.
However, I would like to know who is working on the MP3 portion of the audio capabilities of HTML5 for the Google Chrome browser? I have a bug to report and have listed it in the Chromium Bug database, but since Chromium will never actually have MP3 player capabilities, I'm not sure how or who to contact regarding the MP3 codec in Chrome. Both Windows and Mac versions exhibit a problem as I've detailed here. http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=31293 Anybody know?
