Ah, I think we do not need to wait till a browser can do things that are better handled by the operating system. So you type in some URL in the browser, the operating system takes note that a connection was requested by the user, it makes sure the connection goes to the right place as soon as a link to our internet service provider is established ... ... and we do not need to worry further. We then can sit with our mobile devices around a virtual campfire and listen to nice people like Catspaw when they tell us about their googly stories :) a less confused and quite thankful person
