Seeing how the question is more suited to the Chromium browser than
the OS itself, I think it's okay to be posted here.

I think what he's getting at is NaCl. From what I read, Chromium/
Chrome browser will have Native Client built with it which allows
execution of native code.

Some of the opportunities that I can see are:
If you have applications written in C/C++ etc., you can 'port' those
applications to NaCl with relative ease. If you have programs that
have heavy graphics, multimedia dependencies, NaCl would be what you
want to use. As much as the work with Javascript has improved, nothing
comes close to native code (yet).
