Hi,

Found out that the problem is on the use of the proxy setting, using a proxy
server. I just unchecked the using a proxy server and chrome is now working
ok.

I am sure that chrome was working properly yesterday so i am unsure why the
setting has been changed. It is probably automatic as i don't remember
changing any internet connection setting on my PC.
