The release notes contain this - "The addition of internationalization support for extensions http://code.google.com/chrome/extensions/trunk/i18n.html.";
This link is to the trunk version of the documentation, which can mislead people eventually (thus causing code incompatibilities and redundant posting in the groups). You better change the link to point to the regular location (seems like it has been merged already, if that was the concern at the time of posting). Thank you! ☆PhistucK
