Hello, I'm trying to get started with Chrome extensions and I'm having a bit of trouble getting started. What I'm trying to do is write an extension that works similar to a Greasemonkey script in Firefox; it modifies certain elements of a website.
Unfortunately I'm horrible with Javascript, CSS and whatever it is you use to write extension. I'm familiar with PHP and a bit of Python but I can't see how that is going to help me. Can someone give me some advice on how to get started? I'm already reading tutorials on W3Schools to get me started with Javascript but it's not going very well...
