That sounds like a bug with our extension system. I have a few questions to help us diagnose: - Does this error happen every time you load a given page, or only intermittently? - Does it happen for every page, or only a specific one? - When you see this error, does the content script function correctly? Are you able to use chrome.extension.connect and onConnect from the content script? - Can you send us a copy of the extension and page that this happens on so we can try to reproduce?
