On Windows, Chrome's HTTP proxy setting uses the default system proxy. To enable a proxy, the user needs to take at least 6 clicks (Tool menu/ Options/Under the hood/Change Proxy Settings/Lan Settings/Use a proxy...).
This extension provides a toolstrip interface in Chrome's toolbar to turn on or off the system HTTP proxy with a single click. The extension uses a mini NPAPI plugin for Windows to change the system HTTP settings. For Windows only. The source code of the extension is at http://code.google.com/p/chromeswitchproxy/ (This extension is also released at http://www.chromeextensions.org/utilities/switch-proxy/) Thanks, Wenzhang -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Chromium-extensions" group.
