Hi, We just created an extension for Chrome which embeds our Nimbb player inside it. Nimbb is a Flash swf file and it allows to record videos with a webcam. If you want to test it, here is the link:
http://service.nimbb.com/GoogleChrome/nimbb.crx Now, here’s the problem. Our Flash app generates public events that we can easily intercept using Javascript in any web page (see this link for a working example: http://nimbb.com/Doc/Tutorials/Events.aspx). However, inside a Chrome extension, these events are not generated. It seems like Chrome is not allowing any events from a swf file. Anyone else is having this issue?
