Hi, I must be missing some basic concepts. Maybe you can help.
I'm trying to something as simple as this: a new extension that when the user clicks the extension's icon he gets an alert that shows the number of links in the current page he's viewing. The point of this is that I don't understand how do i access the html, the contents of a page, from an extension... or how do I get a tab's id for example?
